1. Ram Jhula

Ram Jhula is a well known bridge which was made on the river Ganga. It was built in the year 1986 and it is one of the famous builds which exist in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. The Ram Jhula is located in Tehri Garhwal district and this bridge inter connects Sivnanda Nagar and Swargasham in Pauri Garhwal.

2. Lakshman Jhula

Lakshman Jhula is a suspension bridge which was all made up of strings and wires across the Ganga river. The Lakshman Jhula was made in the year 1929. The suspension bridge is very much famous among the local people as well as tourists who come here to visit the sight.

3. Rishikesh River Rafting at Ganga Beach

Rishikesh river rafting is a sport which is famous in Rishikesh. There is a boat called as raft in which 6-8 people sit together and rafting is done on the river in the direction of the flow of the river. To ensure safety, each member is given life jacket. The raft flows downstream and it is fun to sit on the waves.

4. Triveni Ghat

Triveni Ghat are the famous ghats which are situated in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. The location of the Triveni Ghat is where the three rivers which are Ganga, Yamuna, Saraswati. It is the ghat where the visitor believe that by taking a bathe here they get cleaned from the sins which they had done in the past.

5. Rajaji National Park

Rajaji National Park is is the Indian National Park which is famous tiger reserve of India. Since, the location of tiger reserve is in the northern side of India so that is why the reserve has Himalayan mountain range in its area. The park is said to have an area of about 820 sq. km. The construction of the park was completed in the year 1983. It was the second tiger reserve of India.

6. Patna Waterfall

Patna Waterfall are located in the city of Rishikesh which are very much famous among the tourists. The Patna Waterfalls are located at a distance of 6.5 km from the Lakshman Jhula. People have to trek on the path to reach to the Patna Waterfall location and the length of the trek is almost 1.5 km. The place is quite calm and quiet.

7. Neer Garh Waterfall 

Neer garh Waterfall is another waterfall which is located in Rishikesh. The water falls from the hills at a very much high height such that the flow of the waterfall looks so much amazing. Due to the natural beauty of the place, this place attracts many tourists every year. The location Neer Garh waterfall is about 9 kms from the Rishikesh railway station.

8. Neelkanth Mahadev Temple

Neelkanth Mahadev is a Hindu temple which is dedicated to Lord Neelkanth, who is said to be an aspect of Lord Shiva. As this is a Shiv Temple hence most of the devotees come here and visit to the temple. The temple is located at almost 32 km from Rishikesh. It is built almost at a height of 1332 metres from the ground level.

9. The Beatles Ashram

The Beatles Ashram is located in the city of Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. It is located on the banks of river Ganga and is at the beginning of the Himalayan range. The ashram is located on 14 acres of land which is surrounded by jungle all around. It is located on the 150 feet high cliff, from the view of Ganga river could be seen.
